is it the last crisis we saw?

I wish the financial crisis of 2008 to be the most important in our lives. I wish we learned some lessons and made some changes in the financial system. For now serious changes have not happened yet. The financial reform was impeded by the Wall Street lobbists. So, we do not ensure ourselves from the future crisis. Though I like even minor changes that occured like the more clear bank statements or the rule that online payment is processed by the same day you make the payment. This is new and much more convinient for me as a customer. It is dissapointing that in this case the government care about bank`s customers and not the banks themselves. I wonder about other cases. Are the banks capable of taking care about the clients and make some improvements, or they always must be forced to do so? I think average people lobby must be stronger and more powerful than the bank`s one. But I doubt if the American people with average income can compete financially with corporates money in terms of supporting political candidates for example.

  2. Wow, you definatley said some eye-opening things. It's true that the banks are mainly in for their own interest we have lost that sort of , "the citizens" come first kinda thing, it's more about the CEO's and how things will benefit them. That's why I think it would be really important to focus on fixing those things first! :)
